Sixty minutes were not enough to decide the season series between the Blackhawks and the Oilers, with Chicago taking an overtime win on Thursday night at the United Center, their second of the season over Edmonton.
Sam Lafferty, Patrick Kane and Dominik Kubalik all scored in regulation before Alex DeBrincat played overtime hero. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 28 shots in his 17th win of the season.
Jonathan Toews (concussion protocol), Tyler Johnson (neck), Riley Stillman (left shoulder) and Calvin de Haan (groin) all made their returns to the lineup on Thursday night as well.
