GAME RECAP

CHI: 0, LA: 1

1st - 7:53 - Trevor Moore (Phillip Danault, Viktor Arvidsson)

The Kings opened the scoring at the United Center on a slick play in the zone. Phillip Danault faked a half-slapper from the top of the circle, getting defenseman and Collin Delia alike to bite on his apparent shot, and deftly slid a slap-pass to the far post for Trevor Moore, who put a wrister into the open cage for a 1-0 lead.

CHI: 0, LA: 2

1st - 10:50 - Phillip Danault (Matt Roy, Viktor Arvidsson)

LA doubled their lead less than three minutes later as a Phillip Danault shot from out wide deflected off the leg of Caleb Jones at the edge of the crease and into the open side of the net behind Collin Delia for a 2-0 score.

CHI: 1, LA: 2

2nd - 16:27 - Taylor Raddysh (Philipp Kurashev, Jonathan Toews)

Chicago got on the board late in the second as Taylor Raddysh netted his third as a Blackhawk to make it 2-1. Off a cycle in the corner, Philipp Kurashev walked with the puck behind the net before slipping a backhand pass to Raddysh in the slot for a one-timer that eluded Jonathan Quick in tight.

2nd - 17:00 - Blake Lizotte (Alex Iafallo, Dustin Brown)

The one-goal game stood for just 33 seconds before the Kings struck back on the very next shift. Dustin Brown muscled a puck back in the neutral zone and started an abbreviated 3-on-2 rush, leaving a pass for Alex Iafallo inside the blue line while crossing lanes and then driving the net. Iafallo went to give Brown the return feed in the slot, but it found the stick of the trailing Blake Lizotte, who pulled it back against the grain before sliding a backhander home for a 3-1 game.

CHI: 1, LA: 4

3rd - 5:08 - Jordan Spence (Anze Kopitar, Arthur Kaliyev)

LA scored another goal off a deflection in front early in the third to make it 4-1. Jordan Spence corralled a puck just inside the blue line of the Blackhawks zone and threw an off-balance shot towards the net, but on track to go wide until it glanced the knee of Seth Jones and directed just inside the post for a visitor tally.

CHI: 2, LA: 4

3rd - 16:42 - Patrick Kane (Taylor Raddysh, Philipp Kurashev)

The Blackhawks pulled on back late in the game off a rush into the offensive end. Philipp Kurashev lost possession in a battle in the high slot, but was able to kick the puck over to Taylor Raddysh to the left of goal in the slot. Raddysh quickly sent a pass across the slot for Patrick Kane, who quickly scored to make it a 4-2 game.

CHI: 2, LA: 5

3rd - 18:24 - Blake Lizotte

Blake Lizotte put the game away with an empty-netter for his second of the night to make it a 5-2 final.
