The Wild struck first late in the first period after a Blackhawks turnover in Minnesota's end. 3rd - 8:57 - Seth Jones (Patrick Kane, Dylan Strome)

Following a scoreless second period, Seth Jones found the equalizer to end his 35-game scoreless streak. Patrick Kane began the sequence by deftly keeping the puck in Minnesota's zone, allowing Erik Gustafsson to chip the puck to Dylan Strome inside the right faceoff circle. Strome passed back to Kane at the right point, and Kane tapped the puck to Jones who wristed one from the left circle past Wild goaltender Cam Talbot.
Jones' goal was his fourth of the season, while Kane's helper pushed his season-assist total to 50.

Hartman's goal was his 25th of the season, and Zuccarello and Kaprizov tallied their 43rd and 44th assists, respectively.
