OPEN SEASON

Max Domi scored his first goal as a Blackhawk in Wednesday's season opener. He has scored in three career season openers and has points in six of the seven season-opening contests - having registered three points (1G. 2A) with Columbus in the team's season opener for the 2021-22 campaign. Jonathan Toews also scored on Wednesday, making it the third time he's scored in a season opener in his career. The last time Toews scored in a season opener was Oct. 4, 2018 at OTT (1G, 1A). Patrick Kane tallied an assist last night, adding to his tally of 18 points (7G. 11A) in 15 season-opening contests.
