VS. BOSTON

Chicago and Boston meet for the second this season to close out their season series at the United Center. Brandon Hagel registered two markers and Alex DeBrincat added a goal of his own at TD Garden last week in a 4-3 Chicago loss.
DeBrincat has goals in his last four games against Boston (4G) and points in five of his seven career contests against them (4G, 2A). Patrick Kane extended his point streak (4A) to four games against the Bruins with an assist. Kirby Dach and Jonathan Toews added helpers.

Kane was named the league's First Star for the week ending March 13 after he led the NHL with nine assists and 10 points in three games. Kane collected three assists on Saturday, and in the process passed Bobby Hull for second on the Blackhawks all-time points list. He also extended his point streak (3G, 12A) to six games.
His 1.78 points per game since Jan. 25 are the most in the league. Kane has points - including six multi-point efforts - in eight of his last nine games. He has points (10G, 22A) in 15 of his last 18 games.

DYNAMIC DUO

Alex DeBrincat and Patrick Kane combined on a goal for the 33rd time this season on Thursday. Only four duos have factored on more together in 2021-22: Gaudreau and Tkachuk, Draisaitl and McDavid, Zuccarello and Kaprizov and Gaudreau and Lindholm.

STREAKING CAT

Alex DeBrincat registered a Blackhawks' season-long five-game goal streak from March 3-10. His 34 goals are sixth in the NHL and his 12 power-play tallies share fifth. He is third in the league with 66 goals since the beginning of last season. DeBrincat is averaging .57 goals per game this year, just off his career best .62 goals per game which he averaged during the 2020-21 season.
The Farmington Hills, Michigan native registered a helper against the Bruins in addition to his goal on Thursday has eight and 19 points over his last 14 games. He scored his 150th career NHL goal on March 5. He required the seventh-fewest games (342) in franchise history to score 150 career goals with Chicago (NHL debut or otherwise).

POINT-STREAK BAGEL

Brandon Hagel notched an assist on Saturday to extend his point streak (3G, 3A) to four games. Hagel appeared in his 100th career game and recorded his first career hat trick on Feb. 25. Since Jan. 13, when Hagel began a season-long four-game point streak (2G, 2A), he shares second on the team with 12 markers and is fourth with 20 points.

BROTHERLY LOVE

Seth & Caleb Jones became the first pair of Blackhawks siblings to factor in the same goal since Rich & Brent Sutter on Feb 14, 1994 after Seth recorded a helper on Caleb's first goal against the Senators. Caleb has matched a career high with four goals and has a career-best 11 points during the 2021-22 campaign. Caleb has 38 shots and a 10.5% shooting percentage this year, the same totals he logged when he had four markers during the 2019-20 season. Seth shares 10th among league blueliners with 36 helpers this year.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

David Pastrnak -- Pastrnak's 33 goals rank seventh in the NHL this season also leading the Briuns in goals and points (60) through 59 contests. His eight game winners rank third in the league and his 13 power-play goals share third. He has 15 points (9G, 6A) over his last 11 games which included an eight-game point streak from Feb. 19 - March 5. Last season, the Havirov, Czech Republic native posted 48 points (20G, 28A) in 48 games and then led the club with 15 points (7G, 8A) in the postseason.
Brad Marchand -- Marchand paces the club in assists (34) and ranks second in goals (23) and points (57) through 48 contests. His 1.19 points per game leads the club. He's hit the 20-goal plateau for this season for the 11th time in his career. He has eight points over his last eight games (2G, 6A). Last season, the Halifax, Nova Scotia native ranked third in the NHL with 69 points (29G, 40A) in the regular season and led the Bruins in postseason goals (8) and shared second in points (12).
Patrice Bergeron -- Bergeron is third on the club in goals (16), points (44) and fourth in assists (28) in 55 games this season. His plus-13 rank second and his seven power-play goals are the second most on the club. Last year, the L'Ancienne-Lorette, Quebec native shared second on the team with 48 points (23G, 25A) and registered nine points (4G, 5A) through 11 postseason contests. He has won the Mark Messier NHL Leadership Award, four Selky Trophies, the NHL Foundation Player Award, a King Clancy Memorial Trophy and the Stanley Cup over his career.
