Practice-20181015-23

The Blackhawks could receive a boost in the form of their number one goaltender making his return to game action. On Thursday, the Blackhawks host the Arizona Coyotes and it could be Corey Crawford between the pipes for the first time since December 23, 2017.
"We'll see how he is in the morning but we expect him to play tomorrow," said Head Coach Joel Quenneville.
Crawford, who has been recovering from a concussion, has practiced with the team for some time now and he looks good and says he feels good.
"It feels good to be back to myself," said Crawford. "Feeling good, feeling clear, practices have been great. I've been getting timing a little bit more and it will be nice to get in one."
Quenneville added it looks like Crawford "hasn't missed a beat" and the team is looking forward to getting a key piece to their roster back very soon.
"Just to be back practicing with the team has meant a lot and it's good to get to this point now and be really close to playing," Crawford said.
In Crawford's absence, veteran netminder and free-agent signing Cam Ward has backstopped Chicago to a 3-0-2 record to begin 2018-19.
