The Iowa Wild went 1-1-2 in four games last week, extending its point streak to a franchise-best 11 games before falling in its final contest of the week (2/14).

The Wild earned a point in its first contest with a 2-1 overtime loss against the Monsters at Wells Fargo Arena on Wednesday (2/8). F Zack Mitchell scored the lone goal for Iowa with assists from forwards Sam Anas and Teemu Pulkkinen. G Alex Stalock made 32 saves. Iowa won its second contest, 4-2 against Grand Rapids on Friday in Des Moines (2/10). F Alex Tuch led the team with three points (1-2=3). D Mike Weber tallied two assists while Pulkkinen, D Maxime Fortunus and D Mike Reilly each netted a goal. G Steve Michalek stopped 31 of 33 shots. The Wild stretched its point streak with a 4-3 shootout loss against the Griffins on Saturday in Iowa (2/11). Anas (1-1=2) and F Christoph Bertschy (0-2=2) led the team with two points apiece. Mitchell and F Grayson Downing each netted a goal. Stalock made 31 saves through overtime and stopped two-of-four shootout attempts. Iowa saw its point streak come to an end with a 5-1 loss against San Diego on Tuesday at Valley View Casino Center (2/14). Pulkkinen scored the lone goal for the Wild with an assist from F Pat Cannone. Michalek stopped 34 of 39 shots.
Pulkkinen leads Iowa with 33 points (16-17=33) and 16 goals in 42 games this season. Cannone ranks second with 24 points (7-17=24) and Lucia ranks third with 22 points (9-13=22). Stalock is 15-10-6 with a 2.47 GAA, a .919 SV% and three shutouts in 32 games and ranks T-3rd amongst league goalies in shutouts, seventh in minutes played (1,824) and T-8th in wins. Michalek is 10-10-1 with a 2.62 GAA, a .920 SV% and one shutout in 23 games and ranks eighth amongst AHL goalies in SV%.
The Wild is 11-2-4 in its last 17 games and currently sits in fourth place in the Central Division. Iowa travels to Ontario on Wednesday before hosting Cleveland on Sunday and Monday.
