The Iowa Wild went 1-0-2 in three home games last week. The Wild earned a point in its first contest with a 3-2 overtime loss against Grand Rapids on Wednesday (1/18). D Gustav Olofsson (1-1=2) and F Zack Mitchell(0-2=2) each led Iowa with two points while F Sam Anas also scored a goal. G Alex Stalock stopped 37 of 40 shots.

Iowa earned its second consecutive point with a 3-2 overtime loss in its first match against Texas on Friday (1/20). Anas and F Kurtis Gabriel each scored for the Wild and Stalock made 25-of-28 saves. The Wild won its second match against the Stars, its final contest of the week, with a 3-2 win on Saturday (1/21). Olofsson (0-2=2) and F Marc Hagel (1-1=2) led the team with two points apiece. F Mario Lucia and FAlex Petan each scored a goal. G Steve Michalek stopped 33 shots.
F Teemu Pulkkinen leads Iowa with 26 points (12-14=26) in 33 games this season while also leading the team in goals. He will represent the Wild at the 2017 All-Star Classic, Jan. 29-30 at PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania. F Pat Cannone ranks second with 21 points (5-16=21). F Alex Tuch (8-10=18) and Olofsson (5-13=18) rank T-3rd on the team with 18 points. Stalock is 12-10-4 with a 2.69 GAA, a .910 SV% and two shutouts in 27 games and ranks T-6th amongst league goalies in shutouts, sixth in minutes played (1,518) and T-8th in wins. Michalek is 7-9-1 with a 2.72 GAA and a .918 SV% in 19 games. Iowa will travel for a three-game road trip, visiting Grand Rapids (Wed.) and Rockford (Fri. & Sat.) this week.
