SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota Wild President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has signed forward Dylan Gambrell to a one-year, two-way contract ($850,000/$400,000), forward Jagger Joshua to a two-year, two-way contract ($850,000/$260,000 in 2026-27; $900,000/$290,000 in 2027-28), forward Justin Kirkland to a one-year, two-way contract ($850,000/$500,000), and forward Mason Shaw to a one-year, two-way contract ($850,000/$450,000).

Gambrell, 29 (8/26/96), collected 36 points (10-26=36), four penalty minutes (PIM), 78 shots on goal and five power play goals (PPG) in 35 games with the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL) last season. The 6-foot, 185-pound native of Bonney Lake, Wash., ranked second on Iowa in assists and was T-3rd in points and PPG. Gambrell has tallied 40 points (17-23=40), 79 PIM, two shorthanded goals (SHG) and 202 shots on goal in 233 career NHL games over a span of six seasons with the San Jose Sharks (2017-21) and Ottawa Senators (2022-23). He also owns 155 points (60-95=155), 89 PIM, 14 PPG, five game-winning goals (GWG) and 486 shots on goal in 224 AHL games over six seasons with the San Jose Barracuda (2018-22), Toronto Marlies (2023-24), Cleveland Monsters (2024-25) and Iowa (2025-26). He has appeared in 13 Calder Cup Playoff games, collecting seven points (4-3=7) and two GWG with San Jose (2019), Toronto (2024) and Cleveland (2025). Prior to his professional career, Gambrell skated in 120 games at Denver University over three seasons (2015-18), where he collected 132 points (43-89=132), 55 PIM, 10 power play goals, six GWG and 132 shots on goal. He helped lead Denver to a National Championship in the 2016-17 season, collecting 42 points (13-29=42) in 38 games. He was originally selected by San Jose in the second round (No. 60 overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft.

Joshua, 27 (3/29/99), recorded career-high totals with 26 points (8-18=26), 18 assists,  119 shots on goal and a team-leading 101 PIM with the Rochester Americans (AHL) last season. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound native of Dearborn, Michigan, owns 57 points (19-38=57) and 287 PIM in 169 career games across five AHL seasons with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (2022-25) and Rochester (2024-26). Joshua has also appeared in five career Calder Cup Playoff games. He played four seasons at Michigan State University, totaling 44 points (21-23=44) in 135 career games and earning Honorable Mention All-Big Ten honors as a senior in 2022-23. Prior to his collegiate career, Joshua tallied 32 points (12-20=32) in 92 games across parts of three USHL seasons with Youngstown (2016-17) and Muskegon (2017-19). He originally signed as a free agent with Wilkes-Barre on March 23, 2021.

Kirkland, 29 (8/2/96), collected two points (1-1=2) in 20 games with the Calgary Flames and 22 points (11-11=22) in 42 games with the Calgary Wranglers (AHL) last season. The 6-foot-3, 183-pound native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, has tallied 10 points (3-7=10) and 13 penalty minutes (PIM) in 50 career NHL games in parts of four seasons with the Anaheim Ducks (2022-23), Arizona Coyotes (2023-24) and Calgary (2024-26). He made his NHL debut with Anaheim on Dec. 20, 2022, at Los Angeles. Kirkland has also recorded 222 points (86-136=222) and 319 PIM in 450 career games in nine AHL seasons with Milwaukee (2016-19), Stockton (2019-22), San Diego (2022-23), Tucson (2023-24) and Calgary (2025-26). He owns 19 points (9-10=19) in 23 career Calder Cup Playoff games. Kirkland tallied 169 points (71-98=169) and 140 PIM in 199 games in parts of five seasons (2011-16) with the Kelowna Rockets in the Western Hockey League (WHL). He helped Kelowna win the 2015 WHL Championship and advance to the Memorial Cup Final. Kirkland was originally selected by the Nashville Predators in the third round (No. 62 overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft.

Shaw, 27 (11/3/98), tallied 44 points (15-29=44), a plus-7 rating and 162 shots on goal in 71 AHL games with the Manitoba Moose (AHL) last season, leading the team in points and assists while serving as captain. The 5-foot-10, 186-pound native of Wainwright, Alberta, owns 20 points (8-12=20) in 82 career games across parts of three NHL seasons (2021-24), all with Minnesota, recording career-high totals in games played (59), points (7-10=17), goals and assists with the Wild in 2022-23. Shaw has recorded 202 points (75-127=202) and 394 PIM in 340 career games across parts of nine AHL seasons with Manitoba (2024-26) and the Iowa Wild (2017-24) and ranks sixth on the all-time Iowa Wild leaderboard with 131 points (43-78=131) and T-7th with 43 goals. He has also recorded three goals in 10 career Calder Cup Playoff games across two postseason appearances in 2019 and 2026. Shaw has represented Canada at multiple international competitions, most recently posting one goal in three games while serving as an alternate captain at the 2025 Spengler Cup. He posted 163 points (47-116=163) in 161 games across three WHL seasons with the Medicine Hat Tigers, ranking  fifth in the WHL in assists and T-7th in scoring during the 2016-17 season. Shaw was originally selected by Minnesota in the fourth round (No. 97 overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft.
