SAN JOSE, CA- The
San Jose Sharks

The FINancials Junior GM Program presented by Comerica Bank is both an enjoyable and excellent way for students to learn how to become financially savvy all-stars. By acting as their team's general manager, students will work their way through three levels of increasing complexity as they progress from managing the
San Jose Jr. Sharks
youth team, on to the
San Jose Barracuda
(

), the Sharks American Hockey League affiliate, then finally to managing the San Jose Sharks. As they navigate through the program, students will learn basic financial concepts including budgeting, savings, cost versus value, pricing, and data-driven decision making to build a winning team. The game will feature actual San Jose Sharks players as well as fictional players.
