Hockey Fights Cancer Month presented by Kaiser Permanente may look a bit different this year, but that hasn't stopped the Sharks from recognizing and supporting the many individuals impacted by the terrible disease.
All month long the Sharks Foundation and the Sharks are checking in with courageous individuals who were honored during our previous Hockey Fights Cancer nights.
Meet these cancer warriors - our community captains.

Tyler and his twin brother Alex dropped the ceremonial first puck on our Hockey Fights Cancer Night in 2017. He's been in remission for four years!

On the same night, Paris joined Sharks players on the blue line during the National Anthem. She is one-year cancer-free!

In 2017 Apu also joined the players on the blue line for the National Anthem. She has finished her chemo and is in recovery!

In 2018 Harvey was on the ice during the National Anthem and participated in the Hockey Fights Cancer league movement in 2019. After two and a half years, he has completed his treatment and is now in remission.

Graysen dropped the ceremonial first puck at last year's Hockey Fights Cancer Night. She is currently on track to complete her treatment in March 2021.

Kylie joined us in 2018 for the National Anthem and got to meet her favorite fish, Sharkie. She is celebrating two years of completing chemo.

Last year Jason got to join the players on the blue line and ride the Zamboni during intermission. He is celebrating his one year of completing chemo.

Kashish joined us last year on the blue line for her first-ever Sharks game. She is still getting regular checkups and is staying healthy.
