Shark Life: Seeing Double

Joe Thornton didn't make the trip to Vancouver… Or did he?
A fan with an eery resemblance to the legendary Jumbo Joe appeared at Saturday's game between the San Jose Sharks and Vancouver Canucks. Clad in a classic Sharks jersey and rocking a beard only slightly more tamed than the one on Thornton's face, he had Sharks and Canucks fans (and official twitter accounts) doing a double take all night.

The only way you can tell them apart, as far as we could see, was the lack of the signature racing stripe on the doppelganger's beard.
