Couture has posted 61 points (34 goals, 27 assists) and 202 shots on net in 77 games this season. He ranks first on the Sharks in goals, power-play goals and leads all Sharks forwards in blocked shots (70). With his 207th career goal, scored on

, Couture passed former Sharks forward Owen Nolan to take sole possession of fourth place on the Sharks all-time goal leaders list. Among his 2007 draft class, Couture ranks in the top-five in goals, power-play goals, power-play points, shorthanded goals and takeaways this season. In addition, he is one of 15 NHL players to have posted seven or more seasons with 20 goals or more since 2010-11.
Couture was also named the Sharks Foundation "
Sharks Player of the Month
