Tonight the Sharks host the Vegas Golden Knights at SAP Center.
San Jose is coming off a 4-2 loss to the Nashville Predators on Saturday night. Timo Meier recorded his 60th point of the season with a second period goal, to become just the third Swiss-born player in NHL history to record 60 points in a single season. Marc-Edouard Vlasic extended his assist streak to four games and Brent Burns recorded his 61st assist of the season for his 74th point. It was the first loss to a Western Conference team since January 16 at Arizona, winning 15 of the previous 17 meetings.
The Sharks take on the Golden Knights for the first time at SAP Center after splitting on the road in Vegas. Last meeting on January 10, the Sharks earned their milestone 1,000th franchise win in the 3-2 victory.
