Welcome to the Gameday Blog, the one-stop shop for San Jose Sharks fans on every gameday. This blog will be updated throughout the day with news, lineup information, videos, and tweets, so be sure to check back as the day goes on.
Starting off the first road trip of the season with a three game swing of the New York Metro area, the Sharks emerged with 4 of 6 possible points while continuing to show off their improved play. Most recently, the Sharks defeated the New York Rangers by a score of 4-1, which included defenseman Tim Heed's first career goal.
Logan Couture has been particularly impressive, with six goals and nine points in his last four games. Even prior to another two point outing against the Rangers, Couture earned third star of the week honors from the NHL. Needless to say, the Sharks are looking for Couture to continue his production.
The Sharks are 12-17-5-2 all-time versus Boston, but have improved to 8-5-02 since Joe Thornton joined the Sharks in 2005.

There were some lineup changes at morning skate. Timo Meier draws back in, while Barclay Goodrow is out. Joonas Donskoi has joined the Joes on the top line as well, with Labanc taking a spot on the third line, similar to how the end of the game against the Rangers shook out.
