OTTAWA- The Ottawa Senators have renewed their partnership agreement with the Ford Dealers of Ottawa.

The partnership, which was initially launched ahead of the 2016-17 season and expanded in January 2018, will see the Senators continue to recognize Ford as the team's official domestic automotive partner.

"We're thrilled to renew our marketing agreement with the Ford Dealers of Ottawa," said Senators' chief revenue officer Mark Bonneau. "Maintaining a strong relationship with a community-minded group who shares our passion for delivering a great experience to our fans is at the forefront of all that we do. We're thankful to Ford for its renewed commitment to our brand and to our key stakeholders."

One of the first highlights of the Senators' expanded partnership with Ford included a new Lincoln Valet Entrance in addition to the Ford Gate (which was formerly known as the Gate 3 entrance) where fans can continue to view the latest in Ford and Lincoln design and technology. Ford will also continue to have a selected vehicle take to the ice at one intermission for each of the Senators' home games this coming season.

Beginning in 2019-20 season - the partnership will see Ford power the 'Road to the Show' social media program, that will feature reactions and insights from select Senators prospects as they are recalled to Ottawa. Fans will have the ability to read about the excitement and commitment these players have made towards the game of hockey in getting the opportunity to play their first NHL game.

"The Ford Dealers of Ottawa are proud contributors to our local communities," said Les Bell, dealer principal, Lincoln Heights Ford, Ottawa. Our partnership with the Ottawa Senators has allowed us to demonstrate our ongoing support for the team and its many positive impacts in our city, including the Ottawa Senators Foundation's support of Roger Neilson House. Together, The Ford Dealers of Ottawa and the Ottawa Senators will continue to enhance the lives of everyone in Ottawa and the surrounding area. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve."

The renewal, which took effect earlier this month, will also see fans have the opportunity to visit Ford activation stations on site at Canadian Tire Centre during the Senators annual Fanfest on Saturday Sept. 14. There, fans can pose for Senators themed digital photos in addition to checking out the latest in vehicle innovation on site.
