The Sens and Canadiens square off for the third time in twelve days and we've got all the notes and quotes you're looking for before the puck drops in Montreal tonight.

Line-up Notes

With no morning skate today and a few lingering injuries following last night's win in Detroit, we don't have much in the way of confirmed line-up news to pass along. Sens head coach Guy Boucher met with the media in Montreal this afternoon and did share that Christian Jaros has rejoined the team after missing the last 3 games with a lower body injury and he could be ready to return tonight.
"We haven't decided if we're going with 7 defencemen or not because we're waiting for some answers on some banged up bodies," said Boucher. "I'll know if Jaros is available after the skate."
The Sens did receive some help up front yesterday with the return of Bobby Ryan and the coach hopes that Jaros could provide a similar spark on defence against the Canadiens.
"I think it's the same as Bobby coming in yesterday which made a gigantic difference for us," Boucher said. "Any one of the six regulars that we're missing would make a difference so if he's ready to go, we'll put him in for sure."

I'm not sure guessing at what the projected line-up could look like would be the most productive use of our time this afternoon with so many decisions still up in the air so here are the forward lines and defence pairings from last night's game against the Red Wings...
Tkachuk - White - Stone
Boedker - Tierney - Ryan
Dzingel - Smith - Paajarvi
Paul - Batherson
Chabot - Harpur
Lajoie - Ceci
Falk - Burgdoerfer
Elliott

In Goal

Mike McKenna (1-1-1) gets the nod in goal for the Sens tonight as he looks to build off a spectacular showing in his most recent start against the Bruins on Dec. 9th. McKenna stopped 42 of the 44 shots he faced to help the Sens earn a point in their overtime loss to Boston. The starts have been few and far between for McKenna this year as a result of Craig Anderson being leaned on heavily to start the season but with his strong play of late, McKenna should be in line to see some more action in the future.
"It's tough playing behind Craig Anderson," said Zack Smith of McKenna's role. "I'm not a goalie, but Anderson plays a lot of games and for backup goaltenders to get one in every eight games or something like that, it can't be easy."

Previous Meeting

These teams last met just a little over a week ago in Ottawa where the Canadiens earned their second straight 5-2 decision over the Sens. Craig Anderson was busy making 38 saves against Montreal while Mark Stone and Colin White each recorded a goal and an assist in defeat.
"Anytime we lose to Montreal, it stings a little bit more," White said following the game. "We made a couple mistakes and it cost us again."
