The Buffalo Sabres can extend their point streak to five games tonight against the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center.

Here are five things to know.

1. About last night

Jeff Skinner immediately turned, pointed toward Levi, and rushed down the ice to mob the 21-year-old goaltender after scoring the overtime winner against the Rangers.
"I don't know if you know, they were trying to keep him in a cage," Skinner said afterward, alluding to Levi's quote following his first skate with the Sabres. "I was just trying to let the beast go."

Levi became the third-youngest goaltender in Sabres history to win his NHL debut, trailing Tom Barrasso and Daren Puppa. He eased into the game during a two-save first period and heard his named chanted by a crowd of 18,009 during a 19-save third.
"It was a dream come true," he said afterward.

2. The lineup

Tage Thompson has not been ruled out to play against the Flyers, Sabres coach Don Granato said postgame on Friday. Thompson missed his second consecutive game with an upper-body injury.
"There is (a chance)," Granato said. "I would say slight because it's back-to-back. But what he has can resolve to the point where he's pain-free at any moment. We'll see and hope that that's the case."
Jordan Greenway and Mattias Samuelsson both returned from upper-body injuries against the Rangers. Greenway scored his second goal with the Sabres; Samuelsson returned to the top defense pair and skated 22:13.

3. The standings

The Sabres trail the Penguins by five points for the second Wild Card spot with one game in hand. Here's the full Wild Card picture entering tonight:

4. The Kids Table

The Sabres got another strong outing from their young forward line of Peterka, Dylan Cozens, and Jack Quinn against the Rangers. Shot attempts were 19-11 in favor of the Sabres with the trio on the ice at 5-on-5, according to Natural Stat Trick.
Peterka scored a first-period goal, his 10th point in the last 10 games.

5. Scouting the Flyers

The Sabres are looking to bounce back from their last visit to Philadelphia, a 5-2 loss on March 17. Victor Olofsson scored both goals for the Sabres. Owen Tippett had a hat trick for the Flyers.
That game ignited a seven-game point streak for Philadelphia (5-0-2), which continued with an overtime loss to Ottawa on Thursday. Tippett has eight points (5+3) during the run.
Felix Sandstrom (2-10-3, .887 save percentage) is expected to make his third straight start in goal.
