Jeff Skinner played his 1,000th NHL game on Tuesday against the Washington Capitals, and we took the opportunity to spend three days celebrating the career of our smiling, talk-show-hosting, goal-scoring forward.

We collected all of the sights and sounds from the celebration in one place.

A message from Lily Collins

The celebration began Sunday with a message from actress Lily Collins, who plays Emily Cooper in Jeff’s favorite show, “Emily in Paris.”

Celebrating Jeff's 1,000th NHL game

Followers of Sabres content know it’s not the first interaction between Jeff and Lily. Jeff’s love for “Emily in Paris” first became known when he explained the show to Mattias Samuelsson during a practice – which he happened to be mic’d up for. Lily acknowledged that video on her Instagram, and the rest is history.

Watch Jeff’s reaction to Lily’s message below.

The Between 2 Stalls 1,000th Game Reunion Special

It wouldn’t be a Jeff Skinner celebration without “Between 2 Stalls” – only this time, we turned the tables.

Jeff was a guest on his own show with Tage Thompson, Alex Tuch, Rasmus Dahlin, Mattias Samuelsson, and Dylan Cozens sharing hosting duties. Watch the special episode below.
