Sabres acquire 6th-round pick from Chicago

The Sabres have acquired a sixth-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft from Chicago in exchange for forward Sam Lafferty, the team announced Tuesday.

Buffalo now owns eight draft picks in 2026.

Lafferty, 30, joined the Sabres on a two-year contract last summer. He had seven points (4+3) in 60 games this past season.
