Coming to Bridgestone Arena to pick out your Predators season-ticket seats in person is so 2018.
With a desire to always be on the cutting edge of technology in the world of sports, the Preds have now implemented a new ticketing program through Ticketmaster - Virtual Venue 2.0 - becoming the first NHL team to utilize the system.
Essentially, it does just what the title says - giving Predators Season-Ticket Citizens a virtual view of Bridgestone Arena, down to the exact seat location. Already launched and live online, its main purpose is serving Season-Ticket Citizens to help them relocate or add additional seats to their accounts, if they choose to do so.

Additionally, Virtual Venue 2.0 is completely mobile responsive as well, allowing users to view their seats and complete transactions on their mobile devices instead of being glued to their desktop.

"Ticketmaster knows that the Predators always want to be on the cutting edge of technology," Preds and Bridgestone Arena Director of Tickets Operations Sara Shear said. "We want to be innovative and we want to test out all these different things, so whenever Ticketmaster has something new, they come to us. If they have something that can improve the fan experience, we're always going to give it a try."
Season-Ticket Citizens have already received their literature on the seat renewal process, and Virtual Venue 2.0 has been providing an experience unlike any they've ever seen.
In the years to come, Virtual Venue could be utilized for new season-ticket sales, as well as allowing anyone and everyone the chance to see a glimpse of the ice from their specific seat before they even step foot in the building.
The future is here - and the view is great.
