"Now you're going to be able to see who's thinking when they're out there," Boughner said of his team's first taste of in-game action. "You're going to see who paid attention and who bought in the past few days; who's going to apply those systems that we've practice into the games. That's the good part about it. You'll see a lot of that. It'll come together quick. That' what training camp is for."
Monday's scrimmage is scheduled to begin at 10:30 A.M. and last until roughly 11:45 a.m. For those of you that can't watch in-person don't worry, we have you covered. "For a lot of guys, this will be their first scrimmage at the NHL level," Boughner said. "I'll be anxious to see how they react to that."
Following the scrimmage, the Panthers will immediately board a flight and head to Nashville to open their six-game preseason schedule with a doubleheader against the Predators at the Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday.
"It's a very good system we have," forward Denis Malgin said when asked about Florida's upcoming slate of preseason games. "Now it's just about learning that and then trying it on Tuesday against Nashville." Stay tuned to FloridaPanthers.com for recaps and reactions from Nashville.
