RELEASE: Oilers loan Lavoie to Vasby IK

EDMONTON, AB -The Oilers have loaned forward Raphael Lavoie to Vasby IK of Sweden's HockeyAllsvenskan.
The 19-year-old prospect, who was selected 38th overall by Edmonton at the 2019 NHL Draft, split the 2019-20 season between the Halifax Mooseheads and Chicoutimi Sagueneens of the QMJHL, scoring 38 goals and 44 assists in 55 games.
Lavoie was also a member of Canada's gold-medal team at the 2020 World Junior Championship.
The Oilers signed Lavoie to an entry-level contract earlier this year on March 21.
