Oilers prospects Tyler Benson and Stuart Skinner will suit up for Team WHL in the 2017 CIBC Canada-Russia Series.
The circuit begins in Moose Jaw, SK, on Monday, November 6. Goaltender Skinner will tend the crease alongside Sherwood Park, AB, native Carter Hart of the Everett Silvertips.
Oilers 2016 second round draft pick (32nd-overall) Benson is the only player from the Vancouver Giants to crack the squad. Benson has yet to play in the 2017-18 season.
Tim Hunter will coach Team WHL and his assistants will be John Paddock and Manny Viveiros.
