Anaheim answered with a tally from Max Comtois, but an Alex Pietrangelo snipe reclaimed the lead heading into the first intermission. In the middle frame, Nicolas Roy and Danton Heinen traded goals to keep the difference at one until Mark Stone beat John Gibson on the power play to make it 4-2. In the final moments of the third period, Alex Tuch scored on an empty net to secure the victory, 5-2.
