New York Rangers season snapshot memorable moments

Mika Zibanejad scored not once, not twice, but five times in the New York Rangers' 6-5 overtime win against the Washington Capitals on March 5. But after he returned to the locker room, there was no one there to celebrate with him. Well, briefly.

Aw, Mom

Trish Strome, the mother of forward Ryan Strome, did more than just read the starting lineup ahead of New York's game against the Chicago Blackhawks on Feb. 19. She also made some demands of Strome's teammates to get her son the puck.

Selfie assist

It took five seconds for Zibanejad to give a young fan the memory of a lifetime when the center stopped to pose for a selfie before a game at the Ottawa Senators on Oct. 5, bringing about tears of joy.
