About the Stars
The Stars (7-7-5) are coming off a 5-2 loss to the Edmonton Oilers Saturday at American Airlines Center that snapped Dallas' five-game point streak. The Oilers led 2-0 after one period and 4-0 by the six-minute mark of the second.
"It's tough when you spot the team four goals," said Stars captain Jamie Benn. "We had a couple of bad bounces, but it is what it is. They got a 4-0 lead, and that's tough to come back from."
Stars defenseman Johnny Oduya suffered a lower-body injury in Saturday's game and was placed on injured reserve Sunday.
The Stars recalled defensemen Esa Lindell and Julius Honka from the Texas Stars of the AHL. This is the first NHL call-up for Honka, the Stars' first-round pick (14th overall) in the 2014 NHL Draft.
Monday's game wraps up a four-game homestand for the Stars, who are 1-1-1 in the first three games.
Injuries: D Johnny Oduya (lower body), RW Jiri Hudler (illness), C/LW Mattias Janmark (knee) and RW Ales Hemsky (hip) are on injured reserve.

About the Wild
The Wild (9-7-1) lost 3-2 to Colorado Saturday in St. Paul. The Wild led 2-0 after two periods, but the Avalanche scored three times in a 5:29 span of the third to hand Minnesota its fifth loss in the past eight games (3-5-0).
"We stopped playing," Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk told media. "I don't know what happened. That's not like us. I don't know if we thought it was going to be an easy third with the way the game was going, but we had a pretty good game going and that's a waste of a game. That's not good enough."
LW Zach Parise missed Saturday's game due to illness but was on the ice for Sunday's practice.
Minnesota went 1-2-0 on a three-game homestand, plays in Dallas on Monday and then returns home for two more games in St. Paul.
Injuries: LW Zach Parise (illness) is day to day. D Marco Scandella (ankle), C Zac Dalpe (knee) and D Victor Bartley (triceps) are on injured reserve.
