Philadelphia Flyers forward Matt Read will miss four weeks with an upper-body injury.
Read, who has six goals and four assists in 27 games, left the Flyers' 4-2 win against the Nashville Predators on Sunday 1:57 into the game. Read, in his sixth season with the Flyers, has 40 shots on goal and is minus-2. Philadelphia recalled forward Taylor Leier from Lehigh Valley of the American Hockey League and sent down forward Scott Laughton. The Flyers host the Florida Panthers on Tuesday (7 p.m. ET; CSN-PH, FS-F, NHL.TV).
