Michael Raffl scored two goals for the Philadelphia Flyers in a 4-1 win against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden.
Wayne Simmonds and Taylor Leier each had a goal and an assist, Jori Lehtera and Mikhail Vorobyev each had two assists, and Brian Elliott made 26 saves for the Flyers. Ryan Donato scored, and Tuukka Rask made 20 saves for the Bruins. Raffl broke a 1-1 tie with a shorthanded goal 6:48 into the third period. Simmonds made it 3-1 at 14:12 before Raffl extended the lead to 4-1 at 18:39. Leier gave Philadelphia a 1-0 lead 5:21 into the first period. Donato tied it on the power play 5:10 into the third. Bruins defenseman Torey Krug sustained a lower-body injury in the first period.
