Pittsburgh Penguins forward Chris Kunitz did not return to the ice Saturday after he was injured in the second period of a 7-2 win on a hit by Detroit Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk.
Kunitz was helped from the ice and into the locker room with 3:38 remaining in the period. He was hit in the head by Datsyuk, who was penalized for interference.

Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said Kunitz has an upper-body injury and will be a game-time decision Sunday at the New York Rangers (7:30 p.m. ET; NBCSN, TVA Sports).
Kunitz, who scored in the first period, has 17 goals and 21 assists in 72 games.
The Penguins also lost defenseman Brian Dumoulin to injury in the first period.
