Ovechkins announce birth of baby boy named Ilya

Alex Ovechkin and his wife Anastasia welcomed another boy Wednesday morning, the couple announced on social media.

Anastasia gave birth to Ilya Alexandrovich Ovechkin, making their first child, Sergei, a big brother. Sergei was born in 2018, just 72 days afterAlex and the Washington Capitals won the Stanley Cup.

, Anastasia said in Russian that, "We are the happiest," and Ilya was 55 centimeters and 3.8 kilograms (21.6 inches; 8 pounds, 5 3/4 ounces).
