DALLAS -- Miro Heiskanen scored two goals for the Dallas Stars in a 6-4 win against the Ottawa Senators at American Airlines Center on Friday.

Alexander Radulov and Mattias Janmark each had two assists and Anton Khudobin made 29 saves for the Stars (12-9-2), who outshot the Senators 54-33 and avoided a three-game losing streak.
"We shot a lot of pucks to the net and there was traffic," Heiskanen said. "It feels good."

Craig Anderson made 48 saves and Bobby Ryan had three assists for the Senators (9-11-3), who have lost three straight games after previously winning three of four.
"We can score goals, but we can't prevent them from scoring against us," Senators coach Guy Boucher said. "And until we're better at that, it's going to be tough on the road.
"At home, we're able to match and hide some of our weaknesses. But on the road, it's a lot tougher and we're paying for it."

Ryan Dzingel gave the Senators a 1-0 lead at 3:05 of the first period with a one-timer in front of the net after receiving a backhand pass from behind the goal line by Ryan.
The Stars tied the score 1-1 at 10:22 of the first period when Jamie Benn tapped in a pass from the corner by Tyler Seguin.
Brady Tkachuk's power-play goal gave the Senators a 2-1 lead when he batted in his own rebound at 10:22 of the second period.

Heiskanen tied it 2-2 with a wrist shot from the top of the left face-off circle following a cross-ice pass from Radulov at 12:45 of the second period.
Stars defenseman Taylor Fedun made it 3-2 at 18:48 of the second period on a backhand shot in front of the crease.
Heiskanen extended the Stars lead to 4-2 at 4:40 of the third period with a wrist shot from the right point.
"It was amazing to witness how everybody on the bench was pulling for [the Heiskanen hat trick]," Stars coach Jim Montgomery said.

Stars forward Blake Comeau scored his second goal of the season at 6:12 of the third period to make it 5-2.
Max Lajoie scored from the left point at 10:36 of the third period to pull Ottawa within 5-3.
Zach Smith got the Senators within one when he tapped in a feed from Ryan at 13:54 of the third period to make it 5-4.
Stars defenseman Gavin Bayreuther scored an empty-net goal from beyond his own blue line for the 6-4 final score at 17:50 of the third period.
