OTTAWA - As our community continues to work together to support the communities devastated by the tornado on Friday, Sept. 21, the Ottawa Senators, the Ottawa Senators Foundation and our fans continue to raise funds for those in need.

While the efforts of the first responders, the employees at Hydro Ottawa and Hydro-Quebec and the Canadian Red Cross continue to provide relief efforts for the citizens of our region, the Ottawa Senators Foundation is pleased to announce they were able to match the target of $25,000 of GoFundMe campaign on Sunday morning.
The Ottawa Senators Foundation will match the first $25,000 raised by the GoFundMe campaign and given the overwhelming response to the campaign and the community need, the foundation has guaranteed that it will now match all donations up to $50,000 for a goal of a total contribution of $100,000.
In addition to the generous monetary donations made to the campaign so far, fans are also being creative in support of the relief effort. Notorious Senators superfan and social influencer Ben Milks (@Brian5of6) has opened his online store at teespring.com until end of day Tuesday - during which time all proceeds from the sale of his unique Senators-inspired merchandise will be donated to the GoFundMe campaign.
