Tuukka Rask may not want the calendar to turn to January.
The Boston Bruins goaltender capped a near-perfect month of December by
stopping 25 shots in a 5-0 victory against the Ottawa Senators
at Canadian Tire Center on Saturday.

Rask was 9-0-1 in 11 games (10 starts) in December; his only loss came in overtime, 3-2 against the New York Rangers on Dec. 16. Rask stopped 277 of 290 shots for a .955 save percentage, and had two shutouts, to help Boston pull even with the Toronto Maple Leafs for second place in the Atlantic Division standings ahead of the final day of 2017.
