Rookie Adin Hill made 25 saves and the Arizona Coyotes
defeated the St. Louis Blues 6-1
at Gila River Arena for their third consecutive win. Hill, who allowed his first goal of the season at 1:26 of the second period, is 3-0-0 in four appearances (two starts) this season and has stepped in after injuries to Antti Raanta and Darcy Kuemper with an 0.39 goals-against average, .984 save percentage and one shutout.
Mikko Koskinen, who returned to the NHL with the Edmonton Oilers after spending the past five seasons in the Kontinental Hockey League, made 31 saves in
a 2-1 win
against the Vegas Golden Knights at Rogers Place. Koskinen is 8-2-1 with a 2.15 GAA, .928 save percentage and two shutouts for the Oilers and 10-3-1 in his NHL career, which includes going 2-1-0 with the New York Islanders in 2010-11. At 30 years, 137 days, Koskinen is the oldest goalie at the time of his 10th NHL win since Viktor Fasth, who was 30 years, 212 days old when he got the win in a 4-0 victory for the Anaheim Ducks against the Calgary Flames on March 8, 2013.
