Nothing could be finer than fun in Carolina.
The Carolina Hurricanes celebrated their first home win of the season, an 8-5 victory against the New York Rangers on Sunday, with a little bit of a twist.

The team lined up along the blueline and clapped along with DJ Khaled's "All I Do Is Win."
But then, the entire team took off for the boards on the opposite side of the ice and celebrated with a victory leap.

"Instead of the standard, where everybody goes to center ice and holds their stick up, we're trying something new," said forward Jordan Martinook, noting the celebration was the idea of captain Justin Williams. "We had fun with it, and the fans liked it, so keep an eye out on those. We might change it up or stick with that one, who knows?"
Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon liked it.

"We want to have fun when we win. The game should be fun. We want the players to enjoy winning and the fans to enjoy being here," said first-year head coach Rod Brind'Amour. "Our owner (Tom Dundon) has been pushing that all the way, to make it a fun experience for everyone involved. Why wouldn't you try something a little different? I'm happy the guys did something fun."
