New York Islanders (24-18-10) at Ottawa Senators (28-18-6)

Of course, the Islanders will have to beat the Ottawa Senators on Saturday to even have that chance and that's no easy task. The Senators are currently second in the Atlantic Division with 62 points and beat the Islanders 6-2 on Dec. 18.
Both teams are coming in off a win, as the Islanders defeated the Flyers 3-1 on Thursday, while the Senators downed the Dallas Stars 3-2 on Thursday.
The Islanders have gone 4-0-1 in their last five visits to Ottawa.

Alan Quine To Play in Ottawa For First Time:

Ottawa, ON native Alan Quine is set to play professionally in his hometown for the first time on Saturday. Quine made his NHL debut last April, so this is the Islanders' first trip to the Canadian capital since being a part of the team. The 23-year-old has five goals and 13 points this season.
Shane Prince - who was acquired from the Senators at last year's trade deadline - will also return to Ottawa for the first time since his trade. Prince played 61 games with the Senators, scoring 21 points (8G, 13A).
Saturday is also a homecoming for Calvin de Haan, who hails from nearby Carp, ON.

Anderson or Condon in Net for Sens?

Craig Anderson could potentially start in goal for the Senators on Saturday afternoon - if he feels up to it.
The 35-year-old goalie - who hasn't played since Dec. 5, taking time off to take care of his wife who is battling cancer - has been working towards a return since the all-star break. Physically Anderson is ready to play, but the Senators' coaches are waiting until Anderson says he feels comfortable mentally.
Anderson is 12-6-1 this season with a 2.46 goals-against average, a .924 save percentage and three shutouts.
If Anderson doesn't go, Mike Condon will likely get the call. Condon was acquired from the Pittsburgh Penguins for a 2017 fifth-round pick on Nov. 2, but has become a workhorse for the Senators. Condon is 16-9-5 for the Senators this season and at one point started 18 straight games and appeared in 27 straight games for Ottawa.
Condon's streak was broken on Feb. 7, but was in net for the Senators most recent outing, a 3-2 win over the Dallas Stars on Thursday.
