Brown was on the ice for a season-high 10:49 against Toronto, including 2:05 on the power play, and received praise from the Sens' head coach for his play on Monday.
"I would say that was probably the best mix of his game since he's been with us," Boucher shared during his media availability yesterday.
The coach went on to compliment Brown's play with the puck but noted that the 19-year old centre is still learning to defend at the NHL level.
"We saw a young guy that did some good offensive stuff and we also saw him get out of position when Matthews scored their second goal," Boucher continued. "He just got caught out there and that's just a great learning curve for him. He does some good stuff offensively and defensively he gets to learn about the effects of positioning and the professional details."
