Sebastian Aho scored his second goal of the game 19 seconds into overtime to lift the Carolina Hurricanes to a 5-4 win against the Washington Capitals at Capital One Arena.

Teuvo Teravainen had four points (one goal, three assists) for Carolina, which is 5-0-0 this preseason. Andrei Svechnikov and Valentin Zykov also scored, and Petr Mrazek made 25 saves.
Alex Ovechkin scored two goals and Evgeny Kuznetsov had two assists for Washington. Andre Burakovsky tied it at 12:59 of the third period.
Jayson Megna also scored for the Capitals, and Braden Holtby made 31 saves.
