WINNIPEG — JJ Peterka scored at 3:21 of overtime, lifting the Boston Bruins to a 4-3 win against the Winnipeg Jets at Canada Life Centre on Friday.

The forward, who was acquired in a trade with the Utah Mammoth on June 26, got the puck from David Pastrnak on a breakaway and put it through Stuart Skinner's five-hole.

Elias Lindholm, Hampus Lindholm, and James Hagens also scored for the Bruins (2-0-0), who shut out the New York Rangers 3-0 on Tuesday. Jeremy Swayman made 30 saves and Pastrnak had two assists.

Skinner made 26 saves in his Winnipeg debut, and Kyle Connor had a goal and an assist for the Jets (0-0-1). Dylan DeMelo and Mario Ferraro each scored, and Adam Lowry had two assists.

With Swayman pulled for the extra attacker, Elias Lindholm tied it 3-3 with 1:38 remaining in the third period, tipping in Pastrnak's shot from outside the right circle to force overtime.

DeMelo made it 1-0 Jets at 4:52 of the first period with a one-timer from the point that beat a screened Swayman high on his stick side.

Hampus Lindholm tied it 1-1 at 9:23 when his one-timer from the blue line went under Skinner’s glove.

Hagens scored his first NHL goal to make it 2-1 Bruins at 15:20. Mark Kastelic drove the net, and Nikita Zadorov tapped it across the crease to Hagens, who then slid it under an outstretched Skinner.

Connor tied it 2-2 on the power play at 1:50 of the second period, collecting the puck from a net-front scramble and scoring five-hole on Swayman.

Ferraro made it 3-2 Jets at 19:52, scoring with a wrist shot from the top of the left circle.
