One: Kudos for Kraken Penalty Killers
Two: Burakovsky Returns

Kraken free-agent signee and leading scorer Andre Burakovsky scored 22 goals (five were game-winners) and added 39 assists for 61 points last season during Colorado's regular season. He scored the Game 1 game-winning goal in last June's Stanley Cup Final, then scored again in Game 2 while valiantly playing with a broken ankle and thumb injury. He will no doubt be cheered in his return, which will include picking up his Cup ring. He has not disappointed to date for Seattle with five points (2G, 3A) in five games while making plays in all zones. NHL opponents and their pro scouts are already noting a more worrisome SEA offensive attack to defend with Burakovksy and Oliver Bjorkstrand in the mix.

Three: Linemates So Far

Dave Hakstol has mixed and matched the top-nine forwards to date while looking to keep certain duos together. Ex-Columbus Blue Jackets teammates, Alexander Wennberg and Oliver Bjorkstrand, have logged the most minutes together in 5-on-5 play (60:46), according to Natural Stat Trick. Rookie Matty Beniers and Burakovsky have logged 45:58 on the same line. Yanni Gourde and Brandon Tanev have played 43:48 together.
