You need to get creative to stand out at a Whiteout Street Party - and fans did just that on Friday night.
From jerseys to face paint, wigs and white body suits, downtown was decked out in style to cheer on the Winnipeg Jets in their second game of the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Organizers opened up an extra city block to accommodate more people, viewing screens, food and beverage vendors, and an alcohol-free zone for families.
Before the puck dropped, the space in front of viewing screens was shoulder to shoulder as fans secured their spots.

"This is actually my first time experiencing anything like this in the city," said William Ludwick, who came out to the street party after watching the first Winnipeg Jets playoff game from home.
"I saw the crowd here and I was like, I'm missing out on Winnipeg history. I have to be there."
The All Access Team checked in with fans at the block party-including a unicorn, a gorilla, and the Queen of England. Check it out:

Inside Bell MTS Place, the arena was at crowd capacity, with over 15,000 fans filling the stands.
White towels twirled in the air and cheers reached deafening volumes as the Jets took the lead in the game against Minnesota Wild.
In between periods, Jets fans showed off their creative Whiteout style for the All Access team.

Fans went crazy as the Jets defeated Wild 4-1.
Thousands of people from inside the arena joined the Street Party as everyone celebrated the win.
It's safe to say the first two street parties were a huge success. Whether you missed the first ones or wish you could relive the historic night - you're in luck.
The Winnipeg White Out Street Party will take over downtown at every Jets home game in the playoffs.
