WINNIPEG, Feb. 7, 2019 - The Winnipeg Jets announced today the final results of their 2019 Winnipeg Jets Food Drive, presented by SkipTheDishes. The food and funds were donated by generous Jets fans over six recent games at Bell MTS Place. Winnipeg Harvest will receive 32,811 pounds of non-perishable food donations from the initiative.

"SkipTheDishes is proud of all the hard work and generosity of everyone that took part in this initiative," said Kevin Edwards, CEO of SkipTheDishes. "Everyone in our community deserves to have positive food experiences, and we were happy to be able to support those efforts. This is a wonderful way to give back and celebrate not only Winnipeg Harvest, but everyone else involved."
The Winnipeg Jets are proud to partner with SkipTheDishes in this initiative in support of Winnipeg Harvest. Winnipeg Harvest is a non-profit, community-based organization that is a food distribution and training centre. Their goal is to collect and share surplus food with families in Winnipeg and Manitoba.
