• Since Jan. 18, Calgary boasts a record of 8-2-0.
• Mangiapane scored his team-leading 23rd goal of the season and third goal in his last two games. The winger also extended his point streak to four-straight games with six points (4G, 2A) during that stretch. Through 44 games this season, Mangiapane has produced 30 points (23G, 7A).
• Hanafin recorded his fifth goal of the season and now has four points (1G, 3A) in his last two games. The 25-year-old blueliner has 22 points (5G, 17A) on 43 games this season.
• Lindholm buried his 17th goal of the season and his third goal in as many games. The Swedish centerman also extended his point streak to five games where he has put up six points (3G, 3A). Through 44 games this season, Lindholm has 39 points (17G, 22A) through 44 games.
• Andersson tallied his second goal of the season and now has 23 points (2G, 21A) through 44 games.
• Kylington scored his sixth goal of the season and his first on the power play. The Swedish defenseman also extended his point streak to four games with as many points (2G, 2A) in that span. Through 43 games, Kylington has compiled 23 points (6G, 17A).
• Johnny Gaudreau leads the Flames in scoring with 56 points (19G, 37A) through 44 games. The New Jersey native is red hot with a five-game point streak (3G, 2A) and points in 11 of his last 12 games.
• In his 35th start of the season, Markstrom improved his record to 19-10-5. The Swedish netminder has a 2.13 GAA, a .927 SV% and a league-leading eight shutouts this season.
• The Flames were 1-for-5 on the power play and 3-for-3 on the penalty kill against Toronto. Their penalty kill ranks third in the NHL at 84.9%.
• Calgary averages the second fewest goals against in the NHL at 2.41.
