Here are this week's updates on the Islanders prospects:

JEFFERIES KEEPS THE PRODUCTION GOING

Alex Jefferies recorded a three-point weekend with goals in consecutive games for the Merrimack Warriors.
Jefferies, who the Islanders selected 121st overall in the fourth round of the 2020 NHL Draft, picked up a power-play goal in Merrimack's 5-2 win over New Hampshire on Feb. 4. The following night, Jefferies posted a two-point (1G, 1A) outing on Feb. 5 in 5-0 blanking over Maine where he scored his first game-winning goal of the season which marked his second PPG of the season.
Through 24 games of his sophomore season, Jefferies has registered 16 points (5G, 11A). Jefferies and Merrimack are tied for fourth in Hockey East Standings with a conference record of 9-8-0 and have an overall record of 14-11-1.


KRYGIER NOTCHES SECOND GOAL OF THE SEASON

Christian Krygier buried his second goal of the season for the Michigan State Spartans. The Islanders' 2018 seventh rounder (196th overall) lit the lamp in 4-2 loss to Minnesota on Feb. 4 as the Spartans were eventually swept in the weekend series.
Through 28 games of his senior season, the blueliner has totaled seven points (2G, 5A) and 47 PIMs.
Krygier and Michigan State are placed last in the BIG 10 hockey standings with a 5-13-0 record and have an overall record this season of 11-16-1.


LJUNGKRANTZ LIGHTS THE LAMP

Alex Ljungkrantz notched his fourth goal of the season for Vita Hasten of HockeyAllsvenskan.
Ljungkrantz, who the Islanders selected 90th overall in the third round of the 2020 NHL Draft, scored in HC Vita Hasten's 4-3 defeat to Troja Ljungby. Through 18 games with HC Vita Hasten, the winger has totaled eight points (4G, 4A).
Ljungkrantz and HC Vita Hasten ranks 11th in HockeyAllsvenskan with 13-16-7 record.


RATY RECORDS NINTH GOAL OF THE SEASON

Aatu Raty, the Islanders' 2021 second rounder (52nd overall), secured his ninth goal of the season for Jukurit of Liiga on Feb. 2 in a 2-1 victory over TPS.
Through 25 games with Jukurit, Raty now has amassed 24 points (9G, 15A). Raty and Jukurit rank second in Liiga standings with a 26-14-4 record.


LENNOX IMPROVES RECORD WITH SIX WIN OF SEASON

Tristian Lennox earned his sixth win of the season with the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).
Lennox made 26 saves on 27 shots to earn second star of the game as Saginaw beat Erie 5-1 on Feb. 6. With the win, Lennox - the Islanders' 2021 third rounder (93rd overall) - improved his record to 6-14-0. The left catch also has a 3.21 GAA and a 0.886 SV%.
Lennox and Saginaw rank fourth in the West Division with a 16-23-1 record.


LIUKAS TALLIES SIXTH GOAL OF THE SEASON

Eetu Liukas scored his sixth goal of the season for TPS of Liiga. The Islanders' 2021 fifth rounder (157th overall) buried his sixth goal of the season on Feb. 5 in 4-3 win over KalPa.
Through 32 games this season, Liukas has produced seven points (6G, 1A). Liukas and TPS rank ninth in Liiga with a 21-18-2 record.


DUFOUR PICKS UP WHERE HE LEFT OFF

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) resumed after taking a COVID-19-related pause.
Despite the pause, William Dufour, the Islanders' 2020 fifth rounder (152nd overall), wasted no time and kept the momentum going for the Saint John Sea Dogs. In two games since the season resumed, Dufour further extended his goal streak to five games with six goals in that span, while his point streak reached 18 games.
In Saint John's first game back on Feb. 4, Dufour scored the game winner - his fifth GWG of the season - in a 4-0 blanking over Blainville-Boisbriand. On Feb. 6, he recorded a two-goal performance and second star of the game honors in a 6-2 defeat over Rimouski.
Through 30 games this season, Dufour has totaled 50 points (25G, 25A). His 25 goals rank second-most in QMJHL while his 50 points are ranked fourth in league standings. Dufour and Saint John rank fifth in the Eastern Conference with a 17-12-3 record.


COCKERILL SCORES FOURTH GOAL OF THE SEASON

Logan Cockerill tallied his fourth goal of the season for the Boston University Terriers. Cockerill scored the game winner as BU blanked Maine 4-0 on Feb. 4 for his third game-winning goal of the season.
The Islanders' 2017 seventh round (201st overall) and captain of the Terriers now has seven points (4G, 3A) through 22 games.
Cockerill and BU rank third in Hockey East standings with a 10-6-3 conference record and hold an overall record of 14-10-3.
