The New York Islanders fell 5-4 to the Nashville Predators on Thursday, their eighth consecutive loss against the Predators.
Adam Pelech, Kyle Palmieri, Jean Gabriel Pageau and Cal Clutterbuck scored for the Islanders, while Filip Forsberg, Colton Sissons, Juuso Parssinen (2G, 1A) and Nino Niederreiter scored for the Predators. Roman Josi had a four-point game.
The loss snapped the Islanders' two-game winning streak.
