2026-27 Broadcast Information

The most up-to-date information about how to watch the Canes on Hurricanes Hockey Network, catch national broadcasts, stream out-of-market games and more.

Last Time Out...

  • A back-and-forth slugfest with the Oilers ended in favor of Edmonton on Thursday, 6-5.
  • Nine different Canes found the scoresheet, including a goal for Seth Jarvis in his season debut and Juuso Välimaki's first NHL tally in nearly two calendar years.
  • Brandon Bussi suffered the loss in net, moving to 2-2-2 on the season.

Jarvy's Back...

  • Playing in his first game since Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Thursday, Seth Jarvis wasted no time making an impact.
  • Putting Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard in the spin cycle, the 24-year-old added to his highlight reel with a second-period strike.

The Road Back Home...

  • Carolina wraps up its annual State Fair road trip this evening, having gone 2-1-1 on the trek thus far and 6-1-1 on the road overall. A victory in St. Louis would give the Canes seven wins away from Lenovo Center this season, their second-most through the first nine games of a season in franchise history.
  • Following tonight's contest, four of the Canes' next six games will take place in Raleigh before they head to Finland for two NHL Global Series games against Seattle.

In Net...

  • With Brandon Bussi getting the start on Thursday in Edmonton, it feels likely Pyotr Kochetkov will have the net tonight. He'll look to improve his undefeated start to the season to 7-0.
  • He is just the second goalie in team history to win his first six starts of a season, joining Frederik Andersen (8 in 2021-22).
  • His 1.98 GAA ranks T-6th among NHL backstops (min. 5 GP).

On The Other Side...

  • The Blues are seeking their first three-game winning streak of the season as they continue a five-game homestand. Currently 5-4-1 in the always competitive Central Division, St. Louis took down Winnipeg and Vegas earlier this week.
  • Steady special teams play has served as a springboard for St. Louis' success as the Blues boast the league's 8th-best power play (25.0%) and fifth-best penalty kill (85.7%). They've scored on the man advantage in five straight games.
  • Newcomer Mason McTavish has hit the ground running after parts of five seasons in Anaheim. The 23-year-old co-leads the team in both goals (6) – his most through the first 10 games of a season in his career – and points (10). Six of those points have come in his last five games.
  • Jimmy Snuggerud and Dylan Holloway, two other key pieces of St. Louis' young core, have enjoyed similarly bright starts to the year. Snuggerud has scored in three straight games and boasts eight points on the year, while Holloway's 10 points sit tied with McTavish for the team lead, all of which have been produced through his current six-game point streak.
  • It's been Joel Hofer's net for seven of the club's 10 contests and the 26-year-old has largely delivered, going 4-2-1 with a 2.17 GAA and .921 SV%, as well as one shutout. Conversely, longtime starter Jordan Binnington has struggled through his three appearances with a 1-2-0 record, 4.68 GAA and .831 SV%.
