GAUDREAU ON HIS PASS TO TOFFOLI LAST NIGHT:

ON ADDING TOFFOLI:

"It's great. You've got the GM, you've got the owners, you've got the team (and they all) have faith in your team, and they believe in what you're doing and how you're playing. To go out and get a player like that who's really going to help us, it brings us more confidence, I'm sure. But we're excited. The whole team was excited to see Toff get here and join our team, and he's going to make our team a lot harder to play against."

ON SEEING TREVOR ZEGRAS AT THE ALL-STAR GAME:

"Pretty crazy. He's a young kid, has got a lot of skill. Doesn't surprise me to see what he pulled off there. ... I didn't really know what to expect when I put the blindfold on his head and stuff like that. Obviously, it was great for the fans, I'm sure they loved it. Pretty interesting breakaway - I'm not sure if we'll see anything like that again."

"Obviously it was great for the fans"

GUDBRANSON ON FINAL 40 MINUTES LAST NIGHT:

"We put it away. We've got our game in a pretty good place right now. There are always things we need to deal with and take care of and tonight versus last night - and if we start the way we did last night, we're going to be in a lot more trouble tonight. We've got to sort that out and come out with a good effort."

ON HIS OFFENSIVE PRODUCTION:

Gudbranson has goals in back-to-back games and three overall this year
"I've said it before, it's not the thing I'm really expected to do here. But I've been putting a lot of shots on net, trying to put good quality and have some stuff hanging around the net for our forwards to work with. We talk about being a five-man unit all over the ice and that's defensively - in the neutral zone - and that kind of stuff. But it also counts offensively. You have to be able to make plays and do stuff the right way in the o-zone and create that. I think things for me is putting pucks on net, finding the open guy if the lane's not there, and allow them to go to work. It's been good that they've been going in."
