Say What

SUTTER ON MATT CORONATO'S FIRST DAY WITH THE TEAM

"We know what we're up against"

MACKENZIE WEEGAR ON THE ABSENCE OF CHRIS TANEV

"Everybody brings something to the table back there. We obviously miss Tanev a lot. He's an important piece to not just the backend but the team. We have to really rally ourselves together and pick up the slack that he brings to the table every night and that's solid defence. Against a good team like this, we are going to have to play solid defence tonight.

ON MATT CORONATO

"He seems like a great kid. Obviously pretty quiet. I'm sure he's just looking around the room trying to meet everybody and take it all in. Looks like a great plater, skates well, can shoot the puck well. I got to watch him a little bit out there. Its always funny when younger players get called up because they are trying to not make mistakes but they are making little mistakes that you see and you just laugh. He seems like a great guy and we are looking forward to seeing what he can do for us."

ON CELEBRATING PRIDE NIGHT AT THE 'DOME

"Everybody is on board in this room. Everybody is more than comfortable wearing the jersey. A lot of us spoke about it and not one guy had a disagreement. Everybody is welcome in this dressing room, in this arena and we're really happy to be wearing this jersey."

MATT CORONATO ON THE PAST FEW DAYS

"It's been really crazy, really exciting. Hard to explain the feeling of being here. Really just grateful for the opportunity to come and be with these guys and learn. It all started to sink in slowly. Walked in here today it really started to sink in. Met the guys and talked to everyone. It's been really good."

ON MEETING HIS NEW TEAMMATES

"Everyone introduced themselves to me which was awesome. I'm sitting next to Dillon (Dube) and he's been unbelievable and making me feel comfortable. Everyone has been really great."

ON HIS FIRST PRACTCE WITH THE TEAM

"It was great. Just trying to get comfortable and work my hardest. For me, in the back of my mind, I'm trying to work as hard as I can. Listen to the coaches, listen to the guys and just work my hardest."

ON HARVARD TEAMMATES SIGNING IN THE NHL

"Bunch of really good friends. We've been talking a lot about it. Everyone is really excited, there's been a lot of emotions. It's good to have guys that you know going through the same thing as well. Everyone is really excited and we're all happy for each other."
