MARKSTROM ON A HUGE WIN:

ON PLAYING ON BACK-TO-BACK NIGHTS:

"I'm good. Obviously, still pissed off from the other night. I think (that) fed into it a little bit coming into this game - a little bit more emotions than usual. It was a great atmosphere and a great win."

ON THE TEAM'S BATTLE LEVEL:

"Especially in the third period, Stecher had a huge block and Lewis saved a goal, too - right behind me, underneath me. He put his stick there and saved a goal. Those are big plays. And then the timely goals, too, are huge. Obviously, the second goal to go up 2-1 and then the Zadorov goal comes at a great time. It's nice to get that little push before the end."

"Great team effort and a great win"

MANGIAPANE ON WHAT MADE THEM SUCCESSFUL:

"I think we had each other's backs at the start there early on. I think we stuck with it and wanted to play a good, full 60 minutes. It was great that we came away with the win."

ON CLOSING IT OUT:

"That's us sticking to the plan and sticking to our system. Just trusting in it. All the guys came out hard and we wanted to win this one bad."

ON 'PLAYOFF STYLE' HOCKEY:

"That's when we're successful is when we're blocking shots, hitting, doing all those little things - winning board battles. Those games are fun to play in when they're emotional like that. Like I said, it was great that we came away with the two points."

ON CLOSING THE GAP ON WINNIPEG:

"It's big for us. We're really close to these guys in the standings and we just tied it up there. We've been playing playoff hockey for the past 30, 40 games now. We knew what kind of spot we'd be in here, so we're pushing and we've got three games to make it."

"We had each other's backs"

DUEHR ON SUCCESS OF HIS LINE:

"We were just trying to play a simple game and get pucks to the net. It was a big game here tonight and to get that goal, yeah, it was really important."

ON BIG THIRD PERIODS OF LATE:

"The last few games we've had really close games and it's come down to one goal in the third period. It's playoff hockey out there and we're trying to make the playoffs, so we're trying to do it every night."

ON WHY IT'S WORKING:

"Just buying into the systems, right? Just staying with our game plan and committing to playing behind them and getting pucks to the net and it paid off for us."

"We were just trying to play a simple game"

SUTTER ON THE MAGNITUDE OF THIS WIN:

"We won the game. The media and outside the room has been telling us it's the biggest game, or it's over, or how bad we are since the all-star break, so... It's like I tell the players: Block it out and play the game."

ON PLAYOFF ATMOSPHERE:

"It's a tough rink to come into. To be on the road and play in a building like this is pretty special. It's a loud building when you come here."

ON THE PLAYOFF RACE:

"Well, we're not in it yet. ... All we did was close the gap."

ON PENALTY-FILLED AFFAIR:

"If there was any concern in a back-to-back, you get all those penalties early, you get a lot of guys not playing and a lot of guys playing too much."

"The line was very effective for us"

ON MARKSTROM'S PERFORMANCE:

"Marky's been a rock for us for a couple months now since… well, we're into six weeks of it."

ON WHAT THE DUEHR LINE DID WELL:

"I think the line was very effective for us. Scored a goal and drew some penalties for us, got some o-zone time."
